Diagnostics in Exeter
Here at Autocare Services when there is a problem with your vehicle, its on-board computer will store trouble codes and a warning light will appear on the dashboard display. We can then use our diagnostic equipment to scan the ECU for trouble codes. Every fault has its own unique code, sometimes there is multiple codes stored and these have to be eliminated in order for us to find the true cause of the problem. This will then enable us to find the information required in helping us fix the problem.
Air bag diagnostics
Air bag diagnostic is our most common and is usually easily fixed due to a broken wire .
Diagnostic charge is now only £20+VAT !!
A NEW diagnostic charge of £20 + vat will now apply for a scan, this will include a print out of the codes stored in the ECU, this is helpful for all you DIY car enthusiasts. For those who would like to leave it to the professionals an additional labour charge will be added (minimum charge - 1/2 hour), this is to help us get to the source of the problem, you will be kept informed throughout the process and we will seek your authorisation before changing any parts.
