Autocare Services is providing a Performance Tuning upgrade to your vehicles ECU ( Engine Control Unit ), which will enhance the performane and efficiency of your vehicle.
How It Works
Your vehicles ECU has been set up by the manufacturer to have certain limits to ensure that your engine still runs smoothly in the event of sub-standard fuel or neglecting your engine by not following the service schedule, output is often restricted to keep the engine in good condition.
At Autocare Services we will recalibrate your ECU to lift its restrictions. All this can be done with our specialist equipment and takes on average 1 hour to complete.
Your Benefits
Chip Tuning will greatly improve your vehicles acceleration, remove flat spots at low rev's and you will also see your fuel economy increased.
PETROL ENGINES ( NON-TURBO ). This type of engine will benefit the least from the tuning, but you could expect a 10% increase in power and torque.
PETROL ENGINES ( TURBOCHARGED ). A turbocharged engine has more scope to benefit from recalibration, you will see an increase of up to 20% more power with a better throttle response and increased horsepower, up to 25% mid range torque will be accomplished with this procedure.
